Our Trading Division, with sales offices in Kobe and Tokyo, is divided into four sections: 1. Metal finishing chemicals, corrosion inhibitors and fine chemicals; 2. Food and food additives; 3. Inorganic chemicals; and 4. Overseas operations. The division is actively developing its consulting services. Rather than simply selling products, it uses its influence as a key component of the sales?R&D?manufacturing framework to furnish customers with individually optimized products and solutions. It also acts on its own initiative to gain a full understanding of customer needs to develop new markets, products, and services.

Daiwa Fine Chemicals sales staff are well versed in specifying and advising on products with specialized features, from our well known DAIN and VERZONE brands, through specialty and custom developed fine chemicals, to high-functionality foodstuffs. That’s why we emphasize our consulting role and endeavor to add value through technical information and support. We have the knowledge and expertise to help our customers with issues such as product development, cost reduction, and environmental preservation.

This division’s products include water treatment chemicals for private-sector factories and public sewage works and activated carbon for adsorbing substances, such as dioxins, solvents, and gases at garbage incineration sites. The division supplies a wide range of environmental chemicals, including soil decontaminants and heavy metal fixatives for use in waste treatment.
